Honoring Grief, Awakening Gratitude

August 23, 2025

In these supportive gatherings, we’ll use song and sound, poetry, journaling, storytelling, nature immersion, and meaningful ritual to explore our personal and collective grief, as well as what truly nourishes us. Each session will deepen the practice and vary depending on what themes emerge from our group. Please feel welcome whether or not you have attended prior sessions.

Land Listening & Earth Circle

October 18, 2025

Monthly in Santa Barbara, CA

third Saturday 2pm - 5pm

In this practice we offer our listening and attunement to the land as a gift and receive the gift of that listening, in reciprocity. It is an opportunity to open to guidance and shift our orientation away from human supremacy towards all the beings in creation. Returning and held in a circle of community to share our stories, centering our relationship with earth and the holy in nature.

Community Grief & Gratitude Ritual

November 15, 2025

Santa Barbara, CA

A place to honor & give expression to personal & collective love & grief, to give a gift to the holy, accompanied in togetherness and beauty. We gather together at the common well of grief to tend our hearts, sing our tears, be with whatever your particular experience is at this time and witness, accompany and have each others back.Tending to and metabolizing our grief often transforms into gifts of beauty, action and whole hearted care for our world.

Most retreats and courses take place on the unceded ancestral lands of the Chumash people in the Santa Ynez River watershed near Santa Barbara, California. We honor with gratitude the land, ancestors, nature beings, current stewards and residents.
