Land Listening Kinship Circles
We are held in a web of relationships...What happens when you open to the possibility that the natural world is communicating with you all the time? In a shared worldview with others, remembering our kinship with each other and all life…
What is it?
In this practice we offer our listening and attunement to the land as a gift and receive the gift of that listening, in reciprocity. An opportunity to open to guidance and shift our orientation away from human supremacy towards all the beings in creation. Held in a circle of community sharing our stories, centering our relationship with earth and the holy in nature.
Flow of the day
~gather and ground together with attunement, context setting, orientation, embodiment
~cross a threshold and wander out on our own for an encounter with the elements, non human beings & the living world to listen to the land
~council circle to share & listen to stories that must be told to gather collective wisdom for these times
Where: Natural setting 10 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, California ~ Chumash Territory. Specific details regarding location and what to bring sent after registration.
