Women’s Spring Retreat* April 28 - May 4, 2023

Following our curiosity, desire, wonder, animal bodies, dreams, longings and wild impulses, with nature as teacher in a circle of containment and care, we will awaken our natural rhythms parts of ourselves long forgotten.

Spring is a time of renewal and awakening. A time to celebrate what is coming into being, to deepen our intimacy with the earth and ourselves, listen with new ears and see with new eyes as we open to the dreamtime. During our time together, we will ritually feed the holy, adorn her with offerings and delight, give thanks for the gifts of our lives, and turn bravely towards the divine in us.

Friday April 28 2pm - Thursday May 4 2pm

Held on semi-wilderness private land in the high desert of Cuyama Valley, CA (near Ventucopa, CA)

This is a camping retreat. Participants are responsible for bringing their own gear and food for most meals. A collective meal plan will be set up beforehand with our lovely Meal Coordinator/Kitchen Host.

Core Practices

Council, movement, song, silence, dream sharing, poetry, ritual, listening and opening to the emergent mystery will create the texture and container of our time together. There will also be time without other human companions, including an overnight solo ceremony.

We know ourselves in relationship with all that surrounds us, with all we are. We are wind and sun and earth and water, stars, and dirt, and crow and mycelium. This is a time to set aside the conditioned mind, and unfurl into our natural wild selves. In this state of connection and deep communion, the mind usually surrenders to our presence as we drop into our bodies and senses. We will accompany each other and be accompanied, to support and encourage brave acts of truth and alignment, and stepping more fully into the calling and gift of our lives.

We are all the children
of a single flower,
a brilliant flaming flower.
And there is no one,
there is no one,
that regrets who we are.
